Timber Crane Operation Guide
1. Precautions before operation
(1) The crane is not allowed to be used before the outrigger cylinder is opened and locked.
(2) Before connecting the power take-off, be sure to check whether the control handle is in the middle position; if the handle is not in the middle position, return it to the middle position.
2. Operation start
Operation process: step on the clutch, put the speed lever in the neutral position, start the car, then pull out the manual air valve of the power take-off, and then slowly release the clutch pedal. At this time, the power take-off is in working condition.
3. Operation of the telescopic arm
Before lifting the cargo, you must estimate the weight of the cargo (this value should be compared with the rated load on the lifting torque) and calculate the route from the cargo drop point.
When lowering the cargo, operate slowly, land accurately and without swinging, and be careful not to let the cargo hit the crane or the car.
In order to increase the service life of the crane, avoid rotating the turntable with load when the telescopic arm is extended. It is best to shorten the telescopic arm to the shortest before rotating.
4. Crane folding
a. Folding the telescopic arm: pull the telescopic arm control lever to fully retract the telescopic arm.
b. Closing the boom: pull the luffing control lever to close the boom.
